The Prince Albert Guest House is comprised of two historic Sea Captains homes dating back to 1850 Provincetown, Massachusetts Whaling Days and both houses have been restored with modern hotel amenities to create a luxurious bed and breakfast on the tip of beautiful Cape Cod Harbor offering 18 rooms all with private baths.  We are a Bed & Breakfast Diamond Collection status hotel and a member of the Distinctive Inn Group of Provincetown, located in the West End on Commercial Street with the largest outdoor living area with a magnificent harbor view.  Your summer getaway vacation will surely be a most memorable one with world class Broadway performers, comedians, cabaret shows, tea-dances (afternoon seaside socializing in many clubs and restaurants), world-class dining and beautiful scenery and sunsets.  An exclusive bonus to Prince Albert Guest House is the daily, first-hand previews of many of the performers promoting their nightly shows (a PTown tradition) that takes place just outside our courtyard!  It's been said by many a passerby, and by all of our repeat guests, that we have the best location in Provincetown to relax in one of our five courtyards where you can enjoy seclusion in one of the rear courtyards or people watch and enjoy the harbor views on the front of the property.

We are centrally located in the fashionable West End across from the Boatslip at the corner of Commercial and Central Streets.  This allows walking access to great restaurants, art galleries and nightlife.  We are also in walking distance to the beach, or a quick bike ride to Provincetown's coastline and the Cape Cod National Seashore, which offers some of the best beaches in the country!  We welcome short and extended stays.   The Prince Albert Guest House is also ideal for small parties, anniversaries  and weddings!

Both of these Inns have welcomed visitors for over 130 years, and earned the title of Provincetown's Crown Jewels!  Previously known as Atlantic Shores, Four Bays Inn, Casablanca, the Captain and His Ship, Officers Quarters, and The Captains Inn ...2008 began a new era in which the two properties located at 164 and 166 Commercial Street merged into one entity now known as the Prince Albert Guest House.  Offering 18 guest rooms with private baths, many offering oversized bay windows, water views, suites, private patios/decks, flat panel HDTV and views onto Commercial Street or of the Pilgrim Monument.  Beautifully landscaped gardens are found amidst the sunning patios along the front of the inn, as well as private patios in the rear where we have a large hot tub*.  Updated amenities include flat panel (LCD) TV, DVD players, i-Pod connection is available, air conditioning*, ceiling fans, mini-fridges and private baths!  We have wireless (WiFi) internet access for both houses and two courtesy computer work stations. *hot tub is open May 1st through Nov 1st and a/c is available during summer June through Sept.

Provincetown has everything needed for whatever your taste and mood is at any given moment! Lie in the sun on awesome beaches... bike or hike along exquisite nature trails... shop 'til you drop at lively boutiques... original artists and their works abound... catch a live play, enjoy a cabaret or drag show, or a movie with popcorn... Gay and Lesbian interests abound... dance to music spun by top DJs from New York, Miami, and beyond.  Chances are that once you are in Provincetown you won’t want to go home!

Provincetown is a place where friends meet and laughter flows!
